Silent Prayer / Pastoral Prayer / Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be
thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be
done
on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive
us our trespasses as we
forgive those who trespass against us; and lead
us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

*Offering Prayer
Merciful Lord, we offer our gifts and we
offer our prayers, not trusting in our
righteousness,
but as those who know our own unworthiness but trust only in your
love
and grace. Keep from us any temptation to see ourselves as better than any
other,
remembering
that you loved us all so much that you gave your only Son as the price for
our redemption. Help us to see in Christ, our mediator, the
way to love you and all
your
children more fully. We pray in Christ’s holy name. Amen.
