Silent Prayer / Pastoral Prayer
Lord’s Prayer
Our
Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us
our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not
into
temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power
and the glory forever. Amen.

*Doxology
Praise God, from whom all
blessings flow.
Praise God, all creatures here below.
Praise God above, ye heavenly host.
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen.
*Offering Prayer
Creator
and Architect of the Universe: Like Solomon so long
ago, we pray to you and ask for
wisdom -- wisdom to know your will, wisdom to
realize the transient nature of what the world
says is wealth,
wisdom to invest our time and talent in things that will last and will have
eternal
significance. What we
offer to you this morning is but a token of what you are due, but we offer
it as a reminder that if we invest wisely in
things that help usher in your Kingdom of love and
compassion, we will never be found wanting. In the
name of the Christ who held nothing back,
we pray. Amen.
