Congregational Prayer
Lord, today, we turn to you like the
saints who intimately knew and trusted
you. We pray that your Spirit will strengthen
our resolve to be a righteous and holy
people. We pray that our minds will grasp how
great your love is toward us. We
pray that you will fill us with your Spirit
beyond what we think we can contain.
Now, we pause to bless you, the One
who by the power at work within us is
able to accomplish abundantly far more than all
we can ask or imagine. To you
be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to
all generations, forever and ever.

Lord’s Prayer
Our
Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be
done on
earth as it is in heaven. Give us this
day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses
as we
forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from
evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power
and the glory forever. Amen.
