*CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: Easter for Christians is not
a day, but a season.
People: Christ has risen for a reason—to save us!
Leader: Come, Holy Spirit, fill the
hearts of your faithful…
People: And kindle in them the fire of your love.
Leader: Send forth your spirit and
they shall be created;
People: And you will renew the people of the earth.

Sing Truro
*PRAYER in unison
O
Lord, your wondrous birth means nothing unless we are born again. Your death
and sacrifice mean nothing unless
we give up our sins. Your resurrection
means nothing
for us if you are the only one
resurrected. Raise and exalt us, our
Lord and Savior, give
us grace now, later glory in
heaven, where with the Father and the Holy Spirit, you live
and reign, God forever and
ever. Amen.
*PSALMS 133 AND 134
How
very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity!
It
is like the precious oil on the head, running down upon the beard, on the beard
of
Aaron, running down over
the collar of his robes.
It
is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the
mountains of Zion. For there the LORD
ordained his
blessing, life forevermore.
Come, bless the
LORD, all you servants of the LORD, who stand by night in the house
of the LORD!
Lift up your hands to the holy place, and bless the LORD.
May the LORD, maker of heaven and earth,
bless you from Zion.

PASTORAL PRAYER
THE LORD’S PRAYER in unison
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be
thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will
be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive
us
our trespasses, as we forgive those who
trespass against us; and lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the
kingdom and the power and
the glory, forever. Amen.
