*CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader:
Come, let us walk in the light of the Lord
People:
that he may teach us his ways, and that
we may walk in his paths.
Leader:
We return to the house of the Lord to worship
People:
We have an advocate with the Father who
has been tested as we are, but without
sin.
Leader:
Let us approach the throne of grace with boldness
People:
So that we may receive mercy and find
grace to help in time of need.

What
Wondrous Love is This Wondrous Love
*PRAYER in unison
O
merciful God, you sent your son Jesus to be the savior of the world. You felt
compassion for your children two thousand years
ago; please continue to hear us now.
Grant us grace
and peace as we try through self-denial, prayer and meditation to
prepare our hearts for a better life. Please give us a true longing to be free from
sin,
to live as honorably as Jesus our Redeemer.
Amen.

PASTORAL PRAYER
THE LORD’S PRAYER in unison
Our
Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will
be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive
us
our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the
kingdom and the power and
the glory, forever.
Amen.
