Dear Friends and Family of Kim Slobodnyak,
We invite you to join us to a special Church Service in honor of a very dear person, Kim Slobodnyak.
Kim was a bright light in the lives of so many people at Mifflin Avenue and outside of the church and we know that she lives on in your hearts. Her kindness, warmth, humor and energy is just as inspiring today as it was when she went home to the Lord almost 5 years ago. Kim was baptized and raised in this church. She and Nick were married here and they raised their children into adulthood at Mifflin Avenue.
There was a great outpouring of support for Kim’s family and many memorial gifts were donated to the church. The Slobodnyak family requested that the donated money be used to buy the new Carillon system, based on Kim’s love of music, song and the sound of the tower bells ringing. We have had the privilege of hearing the wonderful sounds for several months now. It provides a touching memory of Kim.
Please join us and the Slobodnyak family as we have the official dedication of the Carillon system at our church service in honor of Kim on:
Sunday, April 15th at 11AM
The service will be celebrated by Rev. Kelly Smith and Rev. Bill Saxman. A brunch will follow service, providing an opportunity to greet the family and share all the many warm and funny stories about how this extraordinary woman touched so many lives!
