*Call to Worship

Praise the Lord!

I will praise the Lord as long as I live.

Sing praises to God,

who made heaven and earth,

who is faithful forever,

who gives justice to the oppressed,

who gives food to the hungry,

who sets the prisoners free,

who watches over the stranger,

who cares for widows and orphans.

The Lord will reign forever.

Praise the Lord!

Great God of love, we praise you for you wash away the dust of death, you kiss away the shame of sin, and anoint us with your Holy Spirit. Pour out your blessing in this place, and let your grace flow through our lives as we spread the news of your saving love; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

*Chorus                     “Surely the Presence of the Lord Is in This Place”                  #328

Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place.

I can feel God's mighty power and God's grace.

I can hear the brush of angel's wings, I see glory on each face.

Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place.
