*Call to Worship
One: The psalmist sings,
One thing I asked of the Lord, that I will seek after:
All: to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in God’s temple.
One: Sisters and brothers, God is good, and in love and mercy greets us here.
*Hymn “God of Grace and God of Glory” #577
Loving God, you save all who seek refuge in you.
Grant that we who know your salvation may walk always in your light,
take courage in your faithfulness,
and rejoice in your astounding goodness to us.
Through Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, we pray. Amen.
*Chorus “There’s Something About That Name” #171
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus! There's just something about that name
Master, Savior, Jesus! Like the fragrance after the rain
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus! Let all heaven and earth proclaim
Kings and kingdoms shall all pass away, but there's something about that name.

Many gifts, one Spirit, one love known in many ways.
In our difference is blessing, from diversity we praise
One Giver, one Lord, one Spirit, one Word
Known in many ways, hallowing our days.
For the Giver, for the gifts, praise, praise, praise!
Dear God, our Savior, you grant us citizenship in heaven. In your Son Jesus, we find peace and freedom from the consumerism of this world. May our minds be set not on earthly things, but on your ultimate purposes. Help us to place our hope in you. In trust, we dedicate these gifts for your service. Let more people come to know your saving help in Christ, our Lord. Amen.
*Closing Hymn “Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus” #514
*Chorus “Here I Am, Lord” (refrain only) #593
Here I am Lord, Is it I, Lord? I have heard You calling in the night.
I will go Lord, if You lead me. I will hold Your people in my heart.
