Call to Confession

Prayer of Confession

Almighty God, our world is filled with corruption:

power disguises itself as truth; convenience masquerades as goodness;

selfish pleasure imitates love.

We confess to you, O God, that we have been caught in the web of the world’s sin.

By the power of the Holy Spirit, save us from these deceptions and free us for

glad obedience,  that we may see the joy of Jesus’ resurrection and receive the

promise of everlasting life. Amen.

Declaration of Forgiveness

Silent Prayer / Pastoral Prayer / Lord’s Prayer

            Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.  Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not

into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.  Amen.

                                                He walks with me and talks with my along like’s narrow ways

                                                                     He lives!  He lives!  Salvation to impart!
