As you browse through the pages of our website, you will find that Mifflin Avenue United Methodist Church is a diverse community of Christian disciples who share their love for God in a multiplicity of ways.
On of the deepest needs of people is to connect with God. As a welcoming community of Christian disciples - with open minds, open hearts, and open doors - the staff and leadership of Mifflin Avenue United Methodist Church are committed to helping people make that connection and to empower them to live as disciples of Jesus Christ.
Here are some of the ways we strive to help people make connections!
- Ministries for children abound at MAUMC! Sunday morning educational opportunities are offered for Preschoolers through adults Nursery services are provided and staffed with a Nursery Director and adult volunteers during Sunday School and morning worship (9:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.).
- Our music ministries provide opportunities for those who wish to use their talents to praise God in worship. The following groups provide sacred music throughout the year.
- Chancel Choir - under the direction of Mr. Chris Koesel, our Director of Music, and Mr. Gary Burdick, our Choral Director.
- Bell Choir - under the direction of Mr. Gary Burdick
- Short term educational opportunities for adults are offered throughout the year.
- Our United Methodist Women provide opportunities for women to share in the ministries and outreach of the church by active support of the church and by their commitment to mission initiatives worldwide.
- Many other exciting things are happening at Mifflin Avenue United Methodist Church. I invite you to come and worship with us, and to join us on an exciting journey of faith.
