Community Outreach 2018

The Outreach Committee, with the generous support of the congregation, reaches out to those in need in our church community, surrounding areas, and around the world. Mifflin Avenue offered 6 Monthly Mission Opportunities, which our congregation can choose to support with monetary donations and/or requested items.

We continue to have Outreach events to support our monthly mission opportunities. These events include our Soup Sale in March to support Wilkinsburg Community Ministry, we supported Church World Service through Mifflin Avenue’s participation in the CROP Walk with monetary donations, sponsoring our CROP Walk Team. Another Outreach event this year included our participation in the local Whitney park spring clean-up day.
