“Exterior Restoration & Renovation”

Join us for the Seventh Annual Home Improvement Workshop, Exterior Restoration and Renovation, organized by Greater Park Place Neighborhood Association and Regent Square Civic Association. Bring photos of the exterior of your own home for a free mini-consultation session with volunteer architects and designers from the Design Center. The presentations will address issues such as how to add or modify your home without losing its original architectural style and how new materials compare to materials used in original construction. Also on the agenda are site planning and landscaping. Don’t miss this free event on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 10am to 12pm at the Mifflin Avenue United Methodist Church (905 Mifflin Avenue). Doors open at 9:30am. Please use side entrance of church building.

Mifflin Avenue United Methodist Church will be offering a tour of their beautiful sanctuary.

Carols Around the Table~December 15th


Carols Around the Table and Holiday Dinner will be on December 15th at 5:30pm following the Mandolin Orchestra Christmas Concert.  Join us for a fun evening of Christmas Carols, great food, and holiday time with family and friends!

Pittsburgh Mandolin Orchestra Christmas Concert

     Mifflin Avenue will be hosting the Pittsburgh Mandolin Orchestra Christmas Concert on December 15th at 4pm.  Mifflin Avenue’s very own Gary Burdick will be starring in this event.  Tickets will be sold at the door for $7, Seniors (60+) -$5 and children 12 and under are free.

September Mission Project-Red Bird Mission, Kentucky, Advance #773726

Red Bird Mission provides spiritual, educational, health and outreach ministries for people in remote Appalachia.
The general goal is to help improve lives through compassionate, Christ-centered service. Giving through the Advance of
the United Methodist Church, insures that 100% of every gift reaches its intended mission or ministry.

If you would like to support the Red Bird Mission with a monetary donation, make your check payable to MAUMC and write Red Bird in the memo line
or on your envelope. You may bring your donation to the church office, Monday through Friday, 9am to 1pm or we invite you to join us for Sunday service
at 11AM. Thank you!

MAUMC Supports Wilkinsburg Community Ministry


Mifflin Avenue United Methodist Church supports Wilkinsburg Community Ministry with monetary donations and non-perishable food/paper donations. Wilkinsburg Community Ministry has been helping those in the community for over 45 years. Visit their website at for more information. If you would like to donate non-perishable food/paper products, you may bring them to the church office on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9am to 1pm. If you would like to make a monetary donation to WCM,  mail it to WCM, 704 Wood Street, Wilkinsburg, PA 15221.

All food donations and monetary donations we receive are given to Wilkinsburg Community Ministry. If you need assistance, please visit Wilinsburg Community Ministry, located at 704 Wood Street, Wilkinsburg. Monday fthrough Friday, 9am to 1pm.

Vacation Bible School~ July 22nd

“God’s Backyard Bible Camp”

Vacation Bible School will be held on July 22nd-26th from 9am-12pm.  All children ages 3 thru six grade are
