Meet at the church at 6:30 PM on Friday, August 19. We will then go to the Waterfront to see the new movie The Help. A discussion of the movie will follow at Eat N Park.

Join local cycling and bike shop fixture Adam Blumenthal at the church from 12 PM to 1 PM on Sunday, August 14 for a workshop on “Demystifying the Basics of the Bike.”
Afterwards, we will head to the “Little” Boston trailhead of the Yough River Trail for a family bike ride, beginning at 2 PM. Maps will be provided and bike rentals are available at TRM Cycles and Burke Lee’s Filling Station.

Meditating on scripture deepens our relationship with God and is a traditional devotional practice for the season of Lent.
A printable list of daily readings for the forty days of Lent can be found here. Daily readings include a Psalm, an Old Testament reading, and one or two New Testament readings.
The Revised Common Lectionary provides scripture readings for every day of the year and can be found here.
